Meet your therapist
Hi, I’m Molly! Formally a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), a few of my other titles include: wife, mom, and fellow flawed human. I am committed to helping individuals, families, and communities reach their greatest potential in a supportive, knowledgeable, and nonjudgmental space. I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years, graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2013 and completing my Master’s Degree in Social Work from St. Cloud State University in 2017. I gravitate toward a person-centered, cognitive behavioral approach while holding a firm belief that our mind and body are our best allies, and tapping into their potential rather than working against them allows us to achieve our greatest healing and wellness. I am a Brainspotting practitioner, and work best with individuals looking to address acute or complex trauma, athletes, individuals struggling with anxiety, individuals on a health & wellness journey, and those presenting with somatic symptoms or nervous system dysregulation. I am a Type 1 Diabetic myself, and enjoy supporting fellow T1D and their families too! I believe in meeting clients where they are at to support clients in reaching their goals, yet prioritize collaboration between clients, parents, guardians and other service providers as needed because no one should need to navigate changes or challenges alone.
In addition to my individual clinical experience, I thoroughly enjoy investing in community growth. I look to not only support individual needs, but professionals, businesses, schools, and communities in maximizing their potential as well. Thinking outside of the box, especially to meet rural community needs, is a passion!
Mission
Sprout Midwest Wellness holds a strong belief that empowering individuals and families through personalized, well-educated therapy ensures each individual receives the support they need to heal and grow in a safe, nurturing environment. With over a decade of experience, Molly utilizes a variety of clinical techniques to foster resilience and promote mental well-being. With an emphasis in anxiety, health & wellness, trauma, and adversity-related care, a personalized framework is implemented to ensure clients feel heard and validated while motivating individuals to uncover their inner strengths and work toward their personal goals.
Journey
My belief is that therapy was never meant to be a “one size fits all” approach. In order to allow for the creativity needed for each client to reach their fullest potential and achieve their personalized goals, I transitioned away from agency work into private practice at which time, Sprout Midwest Wellness PLLC was established. I recognized the ever-growing need for compassionate, trauma-informed care in rural Minnesota. Thus, Sprout Midwest Wellness was designed to implement person-centered care while healing and empowering not only the clients that come through the door, but the families and communities that surround them.
